Soltwaters e.V. – Advocacy group for mudflat boaters
Soltwaters e.V., the advocacy group for Wadden Sea users (Soltwaters), represents the interests of all Wadden Sea users (e.g. sailors, motorboat users, anglers and fishermen, sea kayakers, …). Soltwaters provides information about the Wadden Sea and activities on the mudflats. Through dialogue with all relevant organisations, Soltwaters promotes the conservation of the Wadden Sea as a nature reserve that can be experienced first-hand.
We advocate for human behaviour that is compatible with nature within the unique Wadden Sea region and recommend appropriate codes of conduct. Soltwaters recognises the special character of nature in the Wadden Sea and facilitates a balance between the mutual interests of all stakeholders. We support the effective system of navigation rules for small craft in order to take appropriate account of the pressures on the Wadden Sea.
Soltwaters is a recognised non-profit organisation and is funded exclusively through membership fees, sponsorship contributions and donations*. – Who can become a member? – Individuals, clubs, companies, foundations and associations are all warmly welcome as members.
