On our side of the harbour - the Horumersiel Yachtclub

Our second home. This is where we all want to go!

The Horumersiel Yacht Club grew out of the recreational boating section of MTV Jever, which was founded in 1972.
In 1973, the club opened its first season at its home port of Horumersiel, which had a capacity of 18 berths.
Through continuous expansion and modernisation – most recently with the installation of a completely new floating jetty system – capacity has now been increased to 52 berths.
Following the separation of the recreational boating section from MTV Jever, the current Horumersiel Yacht Club was established on 14 December 2001 and now has 78 members who are passionate about sailing.
